Zack Potter owns and operates High Performance Retrievers. Having started his hunting career on the family farm years ago, the outdoors has always been an integral part of his life. As an avid outdoorsman, Zack spent many days on the lake and in the woods pursuing one of his life passions. Working with his own dogs was a step that later led him to a career in retriever training.

After a 10 year career in the fire service as a firefighter/paramedic, Zack chose a change in direction that would allow him to spend more time with his family and in the outdoors. This pursuit took him to Triple Crown Dog academy where he learned about the science behind dog behavior and modifying that behavior. A top graduate of the program, Zack was awarded an internship with Triple Crown with one of the top hunt test professionals in the state which led to a position as a full time assistant where he worked until recently. During his time there, Zack titled a number of dogs in both AKC and UKC hunt tests.

Zack is married to Chrisha and they have two young children, Mathew and Morgan, ages 7 and 5. As a family, they continue to pursue activities in the outdoors and reside on the property in Troy, Texas.
