"Outstanding" Nod from US Army Corps of Engineers

Emerson continues its strive towards excellence by receiving yet another "Outstanding" CCASS rating from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This recognition was for the Combined Arms Collective Training Facility (CACTF) project at Fort Hood, Texas which was completed in early 2009.

The CACTF project includes a Range Operations Center (ROC), After Action Review (AAR) building, operations and storage building. In addition, there were twenty-eight replica urban city buildings consisting of a service station, clinic, radio station, two warehouses, hotel, four business buildings, two strip malls, bank, municipal building, townhouse, school, church/mosque, nine residential homes, city hall, and a police station. Other site features include a soccer field, a pedestrian cross over bridge, gravel and concrete roads, a low water crossing, and a vehicle bridge rated for 100 tons.
